Breaking an ankle 6 weeks before you are due to go to Europe is not a great idea. Challenge now is to get rid of the moon boot. The orthopaedic surgeon just looked at it and said "so you've broken another bone have you" and sent me off with the moon boot. It should be healed enough and have bought some walking boots that come up over the ankle that we hope will help.
